Matt Lindland – Olympic Silver Medalist & MMA Icon

“It was an honor to have the opportunity to give back to the service men and women of the United States. Every day they are protecting this great country and our freedoms and liberties, I don’t take this for granted and had a wonderful time being able to give something back to them. All the fighters and sponsors that were involved were quality guys to be associated with as well”.

Damacio “The Angel of Death” Page – WEC fighter currently ranked #5 in the world

“Train The Troops MMA was a great experience! Ranger Up, Cash4Gold, and the other sponsors really put on a great event. I got to work with some great fighters and coaches like Gray Maynard, Matt Lindland, Tim Kennedy, Matt Phinney, Tim Burrill, Tim Credeur, Jorge Rivera, Tahi Burns, Chris Sepulveda and Seb Zewdie, to help teach the Marines something that might one day save their lives. It was very humbling to be able to give something back to those who defend the freedom of this great country and her people. Also, it was very rewarding to see how eager the Marines were to learn and how much they enjoyed the experience.”

Jasmine Willois CFO REI SHOPPE

“We were taking a chance by sponsoring “Train the Troops, MMA”, but we realized how important it was to speak to our soldiers about investing in real estate to reach their retirement goals. With the recession we wanted to expand our market, and increase our web traffic, inexpensively. Every marketing dollar had to pack a punch. As a direct result of our involvement with “Train the troops, MMA”, REI Shoppe web traffic increased by well over 9%, and we were reached through 7 new sources and mediums. As proud supporters of our troops, it was great to show the troops additional self-defense techniques for their retirement goals. We can’t wait to hit the mat again!”
